New Nordic Track investors made major retail lease commitments in every medium and large city in the US. This approach was slow to catch on and bankruptcy followed. The Nordic Track name was purchased by Icon Fitness for various marketing efforts and product branding. Production of Nordic Track ski machines was moved to China.
